Understand Geniuses' Greetings
Useful when…
- A Remembrance wearer who uses Ultimate and deals Basic ATK DMG.
- A memosprite whose Basic ATK DMG benefits from the post-Ultimate window.
What it does
At S1, the Light Cone increases the wearer's ATK by 16%. After the wearer uses Ultimate, the wearer's and memosprite's Basic ATK DMG increases by 20% for 3 turns. At S5, those values rise to 32% ATK and 40% Basic ATK DMG. The damage increase applies to Basic ATKs specifically, not to the wearer's or memosprite's other attacks.
Choosing by damage pattern
Fly Into a Pink Tomorrow provides CRIT DMG and, only when equipped by Trailblazer (Remembrance), increases all allies' damage and the named Enhanced Basic ATK. Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky has SPD and a different memosprite-based effect involving ally HP consumption and an enemy damage-taken increase. Consider these when their specific conditions better match the wearer; neither reproduces Geniuses' Greetings' post-Ultimate Basic ATK bonus.
Improvement priorities
Promotion improves the Light Cone through stages 0–6. Superimposition from S1 to S5 consumes one sacrifice copy per rank increase and raises the listed ATK and Basic ATK DMG bonuses. Promotion improves the equipped copy directly; reserve duplicate copies for superimposition only if the stronger conditional bonus is worth using them.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Basic ATK DMG increase only activates after the wearer uses Ultimate.
- Skill, Ultimate, and other damage do not receive the Basic ATK DMG bonus.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading the post-Ultimate bonus as an increase to all wearer and memosprite damage.
- Forgetting that the damage bonus lasts 3 turns after the wearer uses Ultimate.
