Make Farewells More Beautiful GUIDE
Understand Make Farewells More Beautiful
Useful when…
- A Remembrance wearer with a memosprite that can lose HP during its own turn.
- A wearer who can benefit from the DEF ignore and the one-time action advance after memosprite disappearance.
How is Death Flower activated?
The Light Cone grants 30% Max HP at S1. When the wearer or their memosprite loses HP during that unit's own turn, the wearer gains Death Flower for two turns. While active, the wearer and memosprite ignore 30% of the target's DEF when dealing damage. S5 raises Max HP to 60% and DEF ignored to 50%. The trigger specifies HP loss during the wearer's or memosprite's own turn.
What does the disappearance effect do?
When the wearer's memosprite disappears, the wearer receives a 12% action advance at S1. This effect can trigger only once, and its trigger count resets each time the wearer uses Ultimate. At S5 the advance is 24%. It is a limited trigger, not a repeated advance every time the memosprite disappears before the next Ultimate.
Investment considerations
Promotion raises the Light Cone's level. Superimposition improves Max HP, DEF ignore, and action advance; the two-turn duration and reset condition remain the same. Each listed step consumes another copy, so prioritize promotion for level growth and consider superimposition when the increased DEF ignore and action advance justify the duplicate cost.
Compare the actual trigger
Fly Into a Pink Tomorrow grants CRIT DMG and adds team and Enhanced Basic ATK bonuses specifically for Trailblazer (Remembrance). Geniuses' Greetings increases ATK and, after Ultimate, boosts wearer and memosprite Basic ATK DMG. Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky grants SPD and converts allies' HP consumption into an additional memosprite damage instance, while also increasing enemy damage taken after a memosprite skill. Their conditions differ from this cone's own-turn HP-loss trigger.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Death Flower requires HP loss during the wearer's or memosprite's own turn.
- Action advance is limited to once per Ultimate reset cycle.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming any HP loss at any time activates Death Flower; the loss must occur during the relevant unit's own turn.
- Counting on the action advance to trigger repeatedly before another Ultimate.
