Understand Sweat Now, Cry Less
Useful when…
- A Remembrance damage dealer who benefits from CRIT Rate.
- A wearer whose memosprite is on the field for the attacks that should receive the damage increase.
Effect and condition
At S1, the wearer gains 12% CRIT Rate. While the wearer's memosprite is on the field, the wearer and memosprite each gain 24% increased DMG dealt. At S5, these values become 20% CRIT Rate and 36% DMG. The damage bonus is conditional on the memosprite being on the field; CRIT Rate has no such stated condition.
When it fits
This is a straightforward personal damage option when both the wearer and memosprite benefit from CRIT Rate and the on-field damage bonus. Fly Into a Pink Tomorrow instead gives CRIT DMG and has a team bonus restricted to Trailblazer (Remembrance). Geniuses' Greetings offers ATK and a post-Ultimate Basic ATK DMG increase to wearer and memosprite. Compare the actual stat and attack conditions rather than assuming one Remembrance Light Cone is a universal substitute for another.
Improvement priorities
Promotion raises its level through stages 0–6. Superimposition takes it from S1 to S5 by consuming one sacrifice copy for each rank increase; the listed CRIT Rate and DMG bonuses improve with rank. Promotion is the direct investment in the equipped copy. Superimpose when those stronger stats justify using duplicates.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The DMG increase for wearer and memosprite only applies while the memosprite is on the field.
- Its damage bonus does not grant a stated teamwide increase.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the DMG bonus when the memosprite is not on the field.
- Mistaking its wearer-and-memosprite bonus for a bonus to all allies.
