Understand The Hell Where Ideals Burn
Useful when…
- A wearer who uses Skill often enough to build the four ATK stacks.
- A party whose Skill Point limit is at least six to activate the opening ATK bonus.
What bonuses does it grant?
At S1 the wearer gains 16% CRIT Rate. On entering combat, if the allies' Skill Point limit is at least six, the wearer gains 40% ATK. Each use of the wearer's Skill then adds 10% ATK, stacking up to four times. At S5, the CRIT Rate is 32%, the entry ATK bonus is 80%, and each Skill use adds 20% ATK. The maximum stack count and Skill Point threshold remain unchanged.
When does it fit?
Its opening ATK bonus checks the allies' Skill Point limit, not the current number of Skill Points. The separate stacking bonus requires the wearer to use Skill and builds to four stacks. A wearer that rarely uses Skill will not build that portion of the effect, even if the entry condition is met.
Improve with care
Promotion raises the Light Cone's level. Superimposition increases CRIT Rate and both ATK bonuses, while the Skill Point limit, four-stack cap, and triggers stay the same. Each listed superimposition step consumes another copy. The largest practical gains depend on meeting the capacity check and using Skill enough to build stacks.
Other Hunt choices
Adversarial grants SPD after the wearer defeats an enemy, while Arrows provides a temporary CRIT Rate bonus at battle start. Baptism of Pure Thought grants CRIT DMG and has debuff-dependent CRIT DMG, plus an Ultimate-triggered effect that supports Follow-Up ATKs. These options emphasize defeat timing, opening CRIT, or debuffs and Ultimate rather than Skill use and Skill Point capacity.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The entry ATK bonus requires an allies' Skill Point limit of at least six.
- The additional ATK stacks require repeated Skill use.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Checking current Skill Points instead of the allies' Skill Point limit.
- Assuming the four ATK stacks build from attacks other than the wearer's Skill.
