Time Woven Into Gold GUIDE
Understand Time Woven Into Gold
Useful when…
- A Remembrance wearer whose memosprite attacks help build Brocade.
- A wearer and memosprite that benefit from CRIT DMG, especially when Basic ATKs are relevant.
How do Brocade and its bonuses work?
The wearer gains one Brocade stack after the wearer and the wearer's memosprite attack. Stacks build to six. Each stack raises CRIT DMG for both wearer and memosprite: 9% per stack at S1, or 54% at six stacks. At maximum stacks, every stack also raises Basic ATK DMG by 9% at S1, for 54% total. S5 raises each per-stack bonus to 15%. The Light Cone also grants 12 base SPD at S1, increasing to 20 at S5.
Who can use it well?
Its strongest fit is a wearer and memosprite that both attack enough to build Brocade and can use the shared CRIT DMG. The Basic ATK increase only applies after maximum stacks, so a character that rarely reaches that threshold will miss part of the effect. SPD is a direct benefit from the start.
What improvement is sensible?
Promotion improves the Light Cone's level. Superimposition raises its SPD and per-stack CRIT DMG bonuses, but requires sacrificing another copy at each listed step. Consider whether those incremental gains warrant using duplicate copies; the core stack-and-cap mechanic already exists at S1.
What are the alternatives?
Fly Into a Pink Tomorrow grants CRIT DMG and has additional team and Enhanced Basic ATK bonuses specifically when equipped by Trailblazer (Remembrance). Geniuses' Greetings raises ATK and boosts wearer and memosprite Basic ATK DMG after the wearer uses Ultimate. Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky instead emphasizes SPD, HP consumption and a memosprite follow-up damage instance. Their triggers and benefits differ, so compare them against the wearer's actual attacks and needs.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Basic ATK DMG bonus requires reaching maximum Brocade stacks.
- Superimposition consumes another copy for each step.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the Basic ATK bonus before Brocade reaches six stacks.
- Assuming only the wearer benefits from Brocade's CRIT DMG; the memosprite benefits too.
