Debuffs and conditions

Pela’s Ultimate deals Ice damage to all enemies and has a base chance to Expose all of them. Exposed enemies have 30% lower DEF for two turns. Her Skill removes one buff from one target and deals Ice damage. Her talent restores additional Energy once per attack if the enemy is debuffed after Pela’s attack; the condition is checked after the attack, so the relevant target must be debuffed at that point. Her Technique begins combat with a separate chance to lower all enemies’ DEF for two turns.

Practical use and investment

The Ultimate is the key trace when Pela is being used for broad DEF reduction. Improve the Skill if removing enemy buffs is important, and the Talent if its additional Energy return is part of her intended use. Her attack against a debuffed enemy can help build Energy, while the Technique can open combat with a DEF reduction attempt. Effect Hit Rate appears among her bonus traces, and can be considered when improving the reliability of her chance-based debuffs; ATK and Ice damage traces are separately available. Unlock traces only as their listed prerequisites and resource costs allow.

Limits and mistakes

The Ultimate’s Exposed effect has a base chance, so it is not assured merely because Pela used the attack. Her Skill removes exactly one buff from a single target, not every buff across the field. The talent returns Energy only when an attack leaves its target debuffed, and only once per attack.

Limitations and tradeoffs

• The all-enemy DEF reduction is chance-based and lasts two turns.
• The buff removal is limited to one buff on one enemy per Skill use.
