Understand Ever-Glorious Magical Girl
Useful when…
- A wearer whose damage includes Elation damage and who can benefit from accumulated Punchline.
How the DEF ignore scales
Two pieces grant 16% CRIT DMG. Four pieces give the wearer's and their memosprites' Elation damage 10% DEF ignore. For every 5 accumulated Punchline allies gain, Elation damage gains another 1% DEF ignore, stacking up to 10 times.
When to consider it
The four-piece effect is relevant when the wearer or their memosprites deal Elation damage; its extra DEF ignore depends on allies accumulating Punchline. Divine-Querying Master Smith instead rewards the wearer for inflicting DEF reduction, granting a team damage buff. Dreamlit Actor provides Elation to an ally targeted by the wearer's Skill or Ultimate and can grant team CRIT DMG if the wearer has 10 or more Certified Banger.
Keep the conditions distinct
The set's extra DEF ignore is measured in 5-Punchline increments, up to 10 stacks. Do not confuse those stacks with the separate 10% base DEF ignore, or with Dreamlit Actor's Certified Banger condition. As Navigator Isee Sees It is another damage option, but its bonus applies to Skill and Ultimate damage and builds stacks from entering combat or using Skill.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The additional DEF ignore depends on accumulated Punchline.
- The 4-piece effect is limited to Elation damage dealt by the wearer and their memosprites.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the extra DEF ignore applies to all damage types.
- Treating the 10% base DEF ignore as part of the Punchline stack count.
