Understand As Navigator Isee Sees It
Useful when…
- A wearer whose damage relies on Skill and Ultimate and can make use of stacks gained from combat entry or Skill use.
Bonuses and stack changes
Two pieces grant 12% ATK. Four pieces increase the wearer's Skill and Ultimate damage by 18% per stack, up to three stacks. Entering combat or using Skill grants stacks. At the start of the wearer's turn or after using Ultimate, one stack is removed.
When to consider it
This set is aimed at Skill and Ultimate damage, so its 4-piece bonus has less direct relevance to damage dealt through other attack types. Wavestrider Captain instead grants CRIT DMG and can build an ATK bonus when two ally abilities target the wearer before their Ultimate. Diviner of Distant Reach offers CRIT Rate at pre-combat SPD thresholds and a first-use Elation Skill team bonus.
Stack upkeep
The set does not simply keep three stacks permanently: it removes one at the start of the wearer's turn or after their Ultimate. The Ashblazing Grand Duke is a different option, focused on Follow-Up ATK damage and an ATK bonus tied to the number of hits from a Follow-Up ATK.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The 4-piece damage bonus applies to Skill and Ultimate, not all damage types.
- Stacks are removed at specified turn and Ultimate events.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the 18% bonus as applying to all of the wearer's damage.
- Ignoring the stack removal at the start of the wearer's turn or after their Ultimate.
