Soul Core Skills
Purified Soul Cores provide unique Yokai skills that spend Anima. Core capacity, slots, and Guardian Spirit attunement constrain which skills you can equip.
How it works
According to the wiki, Yokai may drop Soul Cores, which can be picked up and purified at a Shrine within a mission. Purified cores can be attuned to the equipped Guardian Spirit, and their unique skills cost Anima to use. The source also describes limits on equipped cores, equipment cost, and possible bonuses for matching attunement.
When it helps
Consider a core’s unique skill, equipment cost, available slots, and its relationship to your Guardian Spirit when choosing what to attune. The source does not compare specific cores or identify a best combination.
The tradeoff
You must fit equipped cores within the Guardian Spirit’s capacity, and an unpurified core can be lost if you die before purification.
