Pain Suppressant
Pain Suppressant increases movement and attack speed for wounded units by 20%. The guide calls it Rat’s equivalent to Weaponsmith, but cautions that its effect may be difficult to realize in battle.
How it works
The bonus applies to wounded units, making its payoff depend on units remaining injured when they engage. The guide notes that armies often heal to full before a fight and that focused attacks can quickly eliminate individual units. As a result, the stated bonus is real but may not translate cleanly into sustained combat advantage in the described play.
When it helps
Consider it only when wounded units are likely to fight.
The tradeoff
Its wounded-only condition can limit practical value.
