Remnant: From the Ashes · Trait

Trigger Happy

Trigger Happy increases fire rate. It changes a firearm property rather than directly increasing the ranged damage, critical hit, or reload effects documented for other Traits.

How it works

The Traits source says Trigger Happy increases Fire Rate by 1% per Trait Point invested and lists a maximum of 20%. The same source separately describes Mind's Eye as increasing ranged damage and Quick Hands as increasing weapon reload speed, so those effects should not be conflated.

When it helps

Consider Trigger Happy if fire rate is the firearm property you want to improve. If you want ranged damage or faster reloads, compare Mind's Eye or Quick Hands, whose effects are separately described.

The tradeoff

The documented change is fire rate; it does not state that the Trait increases damage per shot or reload speed.

Your next step

Check whether fire rate, ranged damage, or reload speed is your intended firearm priority before allocating Trait Points.

Read the supporting references

A focused reference to ten named Traits in Remnant: From the Ashes. It explains their documented effects and offers conditional allocation advice; it does not assess other Traits, equipment, or current optimal builds. Guidance explains the referenced mechanics; it is not a tested damage ranking. Check the stated edition and source version before applying a patch-specific detail.
