Enemy Break Gauge
In Trails of Cold Steel III, enemies have a Break Gauge that represents their breakability. Attacks deplete the gauge; when it is depleted, the enemy enters Break state until its next attack turn. Breaking an enemy increases damage to it and cancels its parameter boosts.
How it works
The supplied game-specific mechanics window also says a broken enemy drops its assigned items upon entering Break and becomes completely unbalanced. It does not support the claim that the enemy is delayed or loses a turn.
When it helps
When an enemy's gauge is close to depletion, consider focusing attacks on it to trigger the documented Break benefits.
The tradeoff
The evidence gives no gauge quantities, attack-specific depletion values, or comparative strategy for reaching Break.
Your next step
Check the enemy's gauge and use the in-game turn display to plan attacks.
