Weapon Oils
Oils applied to an equipped sword boost damage against a corresponding enemy type and come in Standard, Enhanced, and Superior versions.
How it works
The passage describes oils as alchemy-crafted consumables applied to an equipped sword to boost damage against a certain enemy type, using Beast Oil as an example. Standard, Enhanced, and Superior versions have respective damage multipliers of 10%, 25%, and 50%, and 20, 40, and 60 charges. Most oils must be crafted; manuscript locations are described as randomized.
When it helps
If preparing for a particular enemy type, the passage describes applying its corresponding oil to an equipped sword.
