Understand Acid Shells
Useful when…
- Adding an on-death area damage effect to a Sobek setup.
- Considering the 10 m radius when enemies may be near one another.
Explosion effect and ranks
At rank 0, enemies explode on death for 75 Corrosive damage plus 8% of enemy maximum Health in a 10 m radius. At rank 3, this becomes 300 damage plus 30%; at rank 5, 450 damage plus 45%. The percentage is based on enemy maximum Health, not a stated bonus to Sobek’s weapon damage.
Compatibility and mod details
Acid Shells is an Uncommon Sobek mod with Madurai polarity, maximum rank 5, and base drain 4. It uses a standard slot.

Limitations and tradeoffs

- The mod is listed for Sobek and uses a standard slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the enemy maximum Health percentage as a bonus to Sobek’s weapon damage.
