Understand Clip Delegation
Useful when…
- Build up the next magazine’s Status Chance and Multishot by landing shots before reloading.
- Consider ranking it when the per-shot bonus is useful to your Sobek setup.
How the reload effect works
The effect triggers on reload and applies to the next magazine. Each shot landed with the current magazine adds 5% Status Chance and Multishot per stack at rank 0, 11% at rank 3, or 15% at rank 5; the effect caps at 15 stacks. At maximum rank, 15 stacks would correspond to 225% for each listed bonus (15% per stack × 15 stacks).
Fit and practical use
Clip Delegation is a Rare, standard Sobek mod with Vazarin polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 5. It occupies a standard mod slot. The stated trigger depends on shots landed before reloading, so it suits a firing pattern that builds stacks before the next magazine is needed.
Rank investment
Ranking raises the bonus per stack from 5% at rank 0 to 15% at rank 5. Example fusion costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 credits for rank 0→1, 120 Endo and 5,796 credits for rank 2→3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 credits for rank 4→5. A lower rank still provides the same reload trigger and stack cap, with a smaller bonus per landed shot.
Other Sobek mod effects
Shattering Justice lists +90% Status Chance and +1 Justice, while Acid Shells describes explosions when enemies die, dealing listed Corrosive Damage plus a portion of enemy maximum Health in a 10-meter radius. These are distinct effects and triggers; neither candidate description gives Clip Delegation’s next-magazine bonus.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus applies to the next magazine and depends on shots landed before reloading.
- It is Sobek-specific and uses a standard mod slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying the bonus to the magazine that was just fired instead of the next magazine.
- Treating the 15-stack cap as a 15% total bonus; each stack contributes the rank’s listed per-stack amount.
