Understand Augur Reach
Useful when…
- Increase Ability Range on a Warframe.
- Compare a standard range mod with range options that add another effect or occupy an Exilus slot.
Effect and application
At maximum rank, Augur Reach adds +30% Ability Range. It is a standard Warframe mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. The entry lists no secondary effect, so its contribution is specifically range.
Rank investment
The mod has ranks 0–5: +5% range at rank 0, +20% at rank 3, and +30% at rank 5. The listed final rank step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Consider how much range the build needs before paying the added capacity and fusion cost for maximum rank.
Range alternatives
Archon Stretch lists +45% Ability Range and restores +2 Energy/s over 5 seconds when abilities deal Electricity Damage. Cunning Drift lists +15% range alongside slide and friction effects, and is an Exilus mod with base drain 4. Flawed Stretch is a Flawed standard mod listing +20% range. Their effect combinations, slot types, and variants differ; they are not interchangeable on those details alone.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It adds range without another listed bonus.
- The compared options have different secondary effects, slot types, or Flawed status.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming added range also increases Ability Strength or duration.
- Overlooking that Cunning Drift is an Exilus mod and that Flawed Stretch is a Flawed variant.
