Understand Augur Secrets
Useful when…
- Increase Ability Strength on a Warframe.
- Compare its direct strength bonus with options that trade another stat or require a conditional trigger.
Effect and slot
At maximum rank, Augur Secrets grants +24% Ability Strength. It is a standard Warframe mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. No additional effect is listed for this mod.
Ranks and cost
It has ranks 0–5: +4% strength at rank 0, +16% at rank 3, and +24% at rank 5. The listed rank 4→5 step costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. A lower rank may be sufficient when capacity or fusion resources are limited.
Comparing strength options
Amar’s Hatred lists +15% Ability Strength plus +25% Armor. Archon Intensify lists +30% strength and grants a further +30% for 10 seconds when abilities restore health. Blind Rage lists +99% strength with -55% Ability Efficiency. These bonuses have different secondary conditions or costs, so compare the actual effect that fits the ability setup rather than treating the strength percentages as the only consideration.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The listed effect is only Ability Strength.
- Other strength mods provide secondary effects or a listed Ability Efficiency penalty.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the comparison mods’ conditional or secondary effects as unconditional Ability Strength.
- Overlooking Blind Rage’s listed -55% Ability Efficiency when comparing its strength bonus.
