Flawed Berserker Fury

Flawed conditional melee attack-speed mod

Released Jul 18, 2014

Flawed Berserker Fury grants melee attack speed after a melee kill, stacking up to twice for 10 seconds. Consider it if you can keep melee kills coming and want a lower-rank, flawed version of the effect.

Understand Flawed Berserker Fury

Useful when…

  • A melee-focused setup that frequently secures melee kills.
  • Using a flawed attack-speed mod while progressing toward other options.

Trigger and effect

A melee kill grants +5.8% Attack Speed at rank 0, increasing to +17.5% at rank 2 and +23.3% at rank 3. The bonus lasts 10 seconds and stacks up to 2x. The kill condition means the effect is not a constant attack-speed increase.

Slot and exclusions

This flawed standard mod is compatible with melee weapons, has Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 3. It explicitly cannot be equipped alongside Berserker Fury, Fury, Primed Fury, or Flawed Fury. These named exclusions prevent treating it as an additional slot-in alongside those mods.

Fusion and comparison

The rank 2 to 3 step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Compare that investment with the standard Berserker Fury, whose listed rank 5 effect is +35% per stack for 10 seconds after a melee kill. Flawed Fury and Fury instead list flat +20% and +30% Attack Speed, respectively, without a kill trigger in their descriptions. These are different conditions and variants, not effects to combine with Flawed Berserker Fury.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Attack speed depends on melee kills and expires after 10 seconds.
  • Its flawed variant has a lower listed maximum bonus than standard Berserker Fury.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Treating the bonus as permanent without securing melee kills.
  • Trying to equip it with one of its explicitly listed incompatible attack-speed mods.
