Useful when…
- Increasing Critical Damage conditionally after a kill.
- Using a timed aiming bonus during Rifle combat.
Trigger and rank values
At rank 0, a kill grants +20% Critical Damage while aiming for 2 seconds. Rank 3 grants +80% for 6 seconds, and rank 5 grants +120% for 9 seconds. Both a kill and aiming are part of the effect condition.
Compatibility and mod details
Bladed Rounds is an Uncommon standard Rifle mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. It uses a standard slot.
Fusion and comparison mods
The rank 4 to 5 fusion step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Galvanized Scope and Argon Scope grant Critical Chance under weak-point conditions while aiming; Bladed Rounds grants Critical Damage after a kill. Agile Aim is a Conclave mod that grants movement speed while aiming.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires a kill and aiming during a limited duration.
- Uses a standard Rifle mod slot and grants Critical Damage rather than Critical Chance.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming aiming alone activates the bonus; the effect also requires a kill.
- Confusing its Critical Damage bonus with the Critical Chance granted by Galvanized Scope or Argon Scope.
