Effect and restrictions
The flawed mod provides +10% Critical Chance at rank 0 and +40% at rank 3. It is a standard-slot shotgun mod with Madurai polarity and base drain 2. It is explicitly incompatible with Blunderbuss and Critical Deceleration, so it cannot be combined with either.
Rank and alternatives
It reaches maximum rank 3 with listed rank-up costs of 10, 20, and 40 Endo and 483, 966, and 1,932 Credits. Standard Blunderbuss reaches +90% Critical Chance at rank 5, while Critical Deceleration reaches +200% and reduces Fire Rate by 20%; both are alternatives, and the flawed mod's incompatibilities prevent stacking them.
Related shotgun option
Accelerated Blast instead supplies +60% Fire Rate and +60% Puncture. It does not provide the critical chance effect, so it addresses a different set of weapon properties.
