Understand Charged Bullets

Useful when…

  • Add Electricity damage to a compatible Archgun.
  • Increase Status Chance alongside the elemental bonus.

Effect and application

Charged Bullets is an Archgun mod that grants Electricity damage and Status Chance. Both scale together: 15% at rank 0, 45% at rank 2, and 60% at rank 3. It uses a standard mod slot, has Madurai polarity and base drain 4, and is limited to Archguns.

Rank tradeoff

The mod reaches 60% Electricity and 60% Status Chance at rank 3. Rank-ups cost increasing amounts of Endo and Credits; the final step from rank 2 to 3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. A lower rank retains both bonuses at proportionally lower listed values if saving fusion resources is more important.

Element choice and listed drops

The other listed Archgun dual-stat mods pair 60% Status Chance with Toxin, Cold, or Heat instead of Electricity. Which element fits depends on the intended elemental setup; these candidates are not direct upgrades to Charged Bullets. Listed drop sources include Profit-Taker, Lektro Commander, and Fomorian Sabotage, each with a different stated chance.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Uses a standard Archgun slot for one elemental bonus and Status Chance.
  • Maximum rank requires more fusion resources than lower ranks.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Applying Charged Bullets to a regular rifle; it is an Archgun mod.
  • Treating the listed elemental and status percentages as final weapon damage or final status chance.
