Understand Dreamer's Wrath
Useful when…
- Enable Tennokai and boost its opportunity chance and critical damage on a melee setup.
- Choose it when those two bonuses matter more to your Tennokai use than the status or reach effects listed on other Tennokai mods.
Effect and rank values
Dreamer’s Wrath enables Tennokai. Its bonuses apply to Tennokai attacks: rank 0 gives +12.5% opportunity chance and +8% critical damage; rank 2 gives +37.5% and +24%; rank 3 gives +50% and +32%. These are mod bonuses, not final attack damage values.
Slot and compatibility
It is a Rare, standard melee exilus mod with Madurai polarity, maximum rank 3, and base drain 6. Its use is limited to melee equipment, and its listed bonuses are limited to Tennokai attacks.
Rank investment and alternatives
Each rank raises both listed bonuses. The rank 2-to-3 step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits, increasing opportunity chance by 12.5 percentage points and critical damage by 8 percentage points. Condition’s Perfection instead adds status chance to Tennokai attacks; Opportunity’s Reach extends the opportunity window to 4.0 seconds and adds 3m melee range for Tennokai attacks. Flawed True Steel is a separate standard melee mod: it lists +80% Critical Chance, doubled for Heavy Attacks, and is not stated to enable or modify Tennokai.
Listed source
The listed source is Deimos/Cambire Alchemy, Rotation C, with a 6% chance.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The listed opportunity chance and critical damage bonuses apply only to Tennokai attacks.
- It uses a melee exilus slot and has base drain 6.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying its bonuses to every melee attack instead of Tennokai attacks.
- Treating Flawed True Steel as a Tennokai mod; its listed critical chance effect is separate.
