Effect and trigger
At maximum rank, casting an ability grants +90% Status Chance when aiming for nine seconds. Rank 0 grants +15% for two seconds; rank 3 grants +60% for six seconds. Both the ability cast and aiming condition matter. The bonus is Status Chance, not a direct damage increase.
Fit and investment
This standard pistol mod has Madurai polarity and base drain 4, with five ranks. The example cost for rank 4 to 5 is 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Higher ranks improve both the bonus and its duration; invest in the final step when the additional 30 percentage points of Status Chance and three seconds are useful to your setup.
Other conditional pistol effects
Galvanized Crosshairs and Hydraulic Crosshairs grant Critical Chance while aiming after weak-point hits, with further stacks or a kill condition listed for Galvanized Crosshairs. Hemorrhage instead gives Impact status effects a chance to apply Slash, with the chance doubled below 2.5 fire rate. Those mods depend on different triggers and affect different stats; they are not direct replacements for a cast-triggered Status Chance bonus.

Limitations and tradeoffs
