Understand Enduring Affliction
Useful when…
- Melee setups that regularly attack Lifted enemies.
- Adding Status Chance conditionally during the Lifted state.
Effect and condition
At maximum rank, the mod gives +100% Status Chance on Lifted enemies. Its value scales from +16.7% at rank 0 to +66.7% at rank 3. The target must be Lifted for this listed bonus to apply.
Slot and ranking cost
Enduring Affliction is a standard melee mod with Vazarin polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. The example rank 4-to-5 upgrade costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Rank investment raises the conditional Status Chance, so its payoff depends on how often you can strike Lifted enemies.
Related melee choices
Enduring Strike adds Additional Combo Count Chance on Lifted enemies, rather than Status Chance. Carnis Mandible lists general Slash and Status Chance bonuses. Condition's Perfection is a melee Exilus mod that enables Tennokai and increases Status Chance on Tennokai attacks. These effects have different conditions and slots; compare their stated purpose with Enduring Affliction's Lifted-enemy bonus.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Status Chance bonus is conditional on the enemy being Lifted.
- The standard melee slot competes with other melee mods.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the bonus as unconditional Status Chance against every enemy.
- Confusing Status Chance with Enduring Strike's Additional Combo Count Chance.
