Understand Enduring Strike
Useful when…
- Melee attacks against Lifted enemies where additional combo count is useful.
- A conditional alternative to general combo-count or Status Chance bonuses.
Effect and condition
At maximum rank, Enduring Strike gives +20% Additional Combo Count Chance on Lifted enemies. The listed value is +5% at rank 0 and +15% at rank 2. It requires attacking a Lifted enemy; it is not described as a general bonus against all targets.
Slot and investment
This is a Zenurik-polarity standard melee mod with base drain 4 and maximum rank 3. Its example rank 2-to-3 upgrade costs 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits, increasing the listed bonus from 15% to 20%. Consider whether the modest final increment merits the cost for your use of Lifted enemies.
Related melee effects
Guardian Derision is a melee Exilus mod that taunts enemies within 15 m while blocking and grants +30% Combo Count Chance while blocking. True Punishment provides +100% Additional Combo Count Chance with -50% Combo Duration. Enduring Affliction adds Status Chance on Lifted enemies. These have different triggers or tradeoffs and do not duplicate Enduring Strike's exact Lifted-enemy effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus requires Lifted enemies.
- The mod uses a standard melee slot rather than the Exilus slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the +20% as an unconditional combo bonus.
- Confusing Additional Combo Count Chance with Status Chance.
