Understand Enveloping Cloud
Useful when…
- Provide nearby allies temporary invisibility while using Cloud Walker.
- Use the augment when supporting allies with concealment matters more than another Wukong ability augment.
Effect and ranks
At rank 0, allies within 2.5 m of the cloud become invisible to enemies for 8 seconds. At rank 2, that becomes 3.5 m for 12 seconds; at rank 3 it reaches 4 m for 14 seconds. The listed effect is conditional on allies being within the cloud’s stated radius. It is a standard Wukong mod with Zenurik polarity and base drain 6.
Rank and slot tradeoff
Enveloping Cloud has three fusion ranks. The listed rank-up costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits, then 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits, then 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Rank investment extends the concealment range and duration. Since it occupies a standard slot, weigh that team-support effect against other mods needed for your build.
Other Wukong augment roles
Celestial Stomp changes the Celestial Twin by letting it perform a commanded slam that suspends enemies within 20 m, while Primal Rage increases critical chance after kills with Primal Fury and then decays over time. These serve control and weapon-focused roles, respectively; neither grants Enveloping Cloud’s nearby-ally invisibility.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Allies must be within the cloud’s listed radius to receive invisibility.
- Uses a standard slot with base drain 6.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming allies outside the listed radius receive invisibility.
- Expecting the augment to improve Celestial Twin or Primal Fury effects.
