Understand Braton Prime
Useful when…
- Sustained fire against targets that remain in sight.
- A conventional rifle choice when a large magazine and automatic handling matter more than a specialized firing mode.
How does it handle?
The normal attack is automatic and hit-scan, firing at about 9.58 shots per second. Each shot deals 1.75 Impact, 12.25 Puncture, and 21 Slash damage. Its listed critical chance is 12% with a 2× critical multiplier; status chance is 26%. It has 75 rounds and takes about 2.15 seconds to reload.
What should I expect from Incarnon Form?
The separate Incarnon Form is also hit-scan, but fires more slowly at 5.67 shots per second. Its listed direct attack deals Impact, Slash, and Puncture damage (28, 39.2, and 2.8 respectively), with 30% critical chance, a 3× critical multiplier, and 30% status chance. The Incarnon Form AoE is a distinct attack: it deals 70 Heat damage and has 10% falloff reduction from 0 to 3 meters. These are separate modes; do not treat their values as the normal attack's stats.
When should I compare another rifle?
Latron Prime has a higher listed critical chance (22%) and multiplier (2.8×), so it may merit consideration if those traits are your priority and you meet its Mastery requirement of 10; Braton Prime requires 8. Panthera Prime is described as a saw launcher with a radial slashing ricochet, a more specialized handling concept. Tenet Tetra trades a slower fire rate for a larger magazine and an alternate fire that launches the entire clip as a grenade burst. These candidates have different use conditions, so their listed critical stats alone do not make them direct substitutes.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The normal attack has modest listed critical chance, while the large magazine favors sustained fire.
- Incarnon attacks have different rates and damage profiles from the normal attack; evaluate each mode separately.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not apply Incarnon Form critical, status, or damage values to the normal attack.
- Do not describe the Incarnon AoE as the normal rifle shot; it is a separate attack mode.
