Understand Cedo Prime
Useful when…
- Using the hit-scan Puncture attack while accounting for its range falloff.
- Using alt-fire for its separate Slash projectile and radial Blast attack.
- Planning compatible mods around its listed polarities.
Normal attack
Normal Attack is hit-scan at 4.5 attacks per second, with seven listed multishot. It deals 32 Puncture damage and lists 24% critical chance, a 2.4× critical multiplier, and 2% status chance. Falloff begins at 26 meters and reaches 96.67% reduction at 52 meters. The magazine holds 40 rounds and reloads in 1.8 seconds.
Glaive attacks
Alt-Fire Glaive launches a projectile listed at 75 m/s, with 20 Slash damage, 10% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 50% status chance. Glaive Radial Attack is a separate AoE attack with 10 Blast damage and the same listed critical and status values; its 0–6 meter falloff has no reduction.
Polarities and shotgun alternatives
Cedo Prime lists two Madurai polarities and one Vazarin polarity. Boar is described as a low-accuracy, high-recoil full-auto shotgun suited to close range. Corinth offers a heavy blast or an explosive alternate round, while Kuva Hek can fire from all four barrels simultaneously. These descriptions distinguish their firing characteristics from Cedo Prime’s listed normal and glaive attacks.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The normal attack lists 2% status chance, compared with 50% for the glaive attacks.
- Normal attack falloff begins at 26 meters and reaches 96.67% reduction at 52 meters.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not attribute Cedo’s status-dependent damage description or Lavos ammo interaction to Cedo Prime.
- Do not apply the glaive attacks’ 50% status chance to the normal attack.
