Understand Dual Keres Prime
Useful when…
- Use normal attacks for fast, critical-oriented dual-sword melee.
- Consider its stated Heavy Attack Efficiency benefit when wielded by Khora.
Normal attacks
Normal attacks deal 180 listed damage: 104.4 Slash, 54 Puncture, and 21.6 Impact. The attack speed is 1.25, with 32% critical chance, a 2.6x critical multiplier, 24% status chance, and listed 2.5 m range. This offers a stronger critical base than the non-Prime Dual Keres, along with higher listed damage and status chance.
Heavy attacks and Khora
The weapon's description says Heavy Attack Efficiency is enhanced when Khora wields it. This is a conditional weapon-user interaction; no numerical bonus is specified here, so it should not be converted into a quantified efficiency increase. The heavy slam separately lists 540 Blast area damage, with falloff from 0 to 9 m and 30% reduction; a regular slam deals 360 Impact with 0 to 8 m falloff and 50% reduction.
Investment and alternatives
It requires Mastery Rank 14 and has two Madurai polarities. Its normal attack's critical profile supports a critical-oriented setup; the two listed polarities may inform slot planning. Base Dual Keres is the lower-Mastery related option. Masseter is a Heavy Blade, and Quassus is a Warfan with a described dagger-scattering feature, so either changes weapon handling rather than serving as a direct dual-sword comparison.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its Mastery Rank 14 requirement places it beyond the base Dual Keres' Rank 7 requirement.
- Its Khora-specific Heavy Attack Efficiency benefit has no numeric amount specified.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not treat the Khora Heavy Attack Efficiency benefit as a general bonus for every wielder.
- Do not assign the normal attack's 24% status chance to the slam attacks, which list 10%.
