Understand Falcor
Useful when…
- Compare the normal melee profile with the uncharged and charged Throw profiles.
- Account for the Charged Throw’s 1.2-second charge time.
- Compare bounce and recall explosions separately, including their different listed falloff.
How do melee and throws differ?
Normal Attack lists 36 Impact, 18 Puncture, 92 Slash, and 84 Electricity damage, with 12% critical chance, a 1.6× critical multiplier, and 34% status chance. Throw lists 20 Impact, 40 Puncture, 80 Slash, and 110 Electricity damage, with 14% critical chance, a 1.8× multiplier, and 36% status chance. Charged Throw takes 1.2 seconds and lists 56 Impact, 20 Puncture, 230 Slash, and 200 Electricity damage, with 16% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 38% status chance.
How do the bounce and recall explosions compare?
Throw Bounce Explosion lists 345 Electricity damage, 14% critical chance, a 1.8× multiplier, and 36% status chance; its falloff entry runs from 0 to 6 with 0.4 reduction. Throw Recall Explosion lists 690 Electricity damage with the same critical and status profile, and no falloff reduction over 0 to 6. Charged Throw Bounce Explosion lists 690 Electricity damage, 16% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 38% status chance, with 0.4 reduction from 0 to 6. Charged Throw Recall Explosion lists 1,380 Electricity damage with the same critical and status profile, and no falloff reduction over 0 to 6.
What are its slam and handling values?
Slam Attack lists 460 Electricity damage with 50% reduction over its 0-to-5 falloff interval. Heavy Slam Attack lists 750 Electricity damage with 30% reduction over 0 to 6. The listed melee range is 1.3, normal attack speed is 0.833, and Heavy Attack wind-up is 1.2 seconds. Throw lists shot_speed 25 and flight 25; Charged Throw lists shot_speed 35 and flight 35. These are the supplied property labels and values.
How does Falcor differ from the comparison weapons?
Falcor is a glaive; Kesheg is a polearm, Masseter is a heavy blade, and Arum Spinosa is a warfan. Arum Spinosa’s description says its Heavy Attack sends toxic spines at ranged attackers. The comparison descriptions establish different weapon types and features, not equivalent glaive handling.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Charged Throw has a listed 1.2-second charge time.
- Bounce explosions list falloff reduction; recall explosions list none.
- The listed melee range is 1.3.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not combine bounce and recall explosion profiles; their listed damage and falloff differ.
- Keep the 1.2-second Charged Throw charge time with that mode.
- Do not describe shot_speed or flight values as distances.
