Understand Karak Wraith
Useful when…
- Use its hit-scan automatic fire for sustained rifle engagements.
- Consider it when the base Karak's 30-round magazine is too limiting and you can meet the Wraith's mastery requirement of 7.
Attack and handling
The Wraith's single Normal Attack is hit-scan at speed 11.67, with 13% critical chance, a 2x critical multiplier, and 25% status chance. It lists 31 damage: 13.95 Impact, 9.3 Puncture, and 7.75 Slash. The magazine holds 60 rounds and reloads in 2 seconds. There is no alternate fire listed.
Investment and comparison
It has a rank cap of 30 and one Madurai polarity. The recipe lists barrel, receiver, stock, and blueprint components; the tag identifies an Invasion Reward, but does not establish current availability. Compared with the base Karak, its supplied stats show 13% rather than 9% critical chance and a 2x rather than 1.5x multiplier, along with a 60 rather than 30-round magazine. Latron Wraith is a semi-automatic rifle with a different shot cadence; Gorgon Wraith is another automatic-weapon candidate, but its comparison gives no detailed handling figures.
Practical caveat
The larger magazine reduces how often you need to reload, but the reload remains 2 seconds and the weapon still fires automatically. Choose it for that specific handling benefit and its listed attack stats; styling alone does not establish an additional mechanic.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Twice the base Karak's magazine capacity, with a 2-second reload unchanged.
- Requires mastery 7, compared with mastery 1 for the base Karak.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not claim the Wraith has a different trigger mode or special firing mechanic; its attack is listed as automatic.
- Do not assume the Invasion Reward tag means the weapon is currently available from a particular reward.
