Understand Kuva Hind
Useful when…
- Choose semi-auto for its higher listed per-hit damage and critical stats.
- Choose burst or auto when their higher listed status chance better suits your firing preference.
Attack modes
Burst deals 7.5 Impact, 15 Slash, and 7.5 Puncture, with 25% critical chance, a 2.1× multiplier, and 33% status chance; its listed speed is 5. Semi-auto deals 18 Impact, 54 Slash, and 18 Puncture, with 37% critical chance, a 2.9× multiplier, and 21% status chance; speed is 2.5. Auto deals 6 Impact, 18 Slash, and 6 Puncture, with 21% critical chance, a 1.9× multiplier, and 33% status chance; speed is 10. All three attacks are hit-scan. The magazine holds 90 and reload takes 2.3 seconds.
Choosing a mode
Semi-auto has the highest listed per-hit damage and critical profile among the three modes. Burst and auto list higher status chance than semi-auto. Their differing attack speeds and profiles let you choose how to fire without changing weapons.
Rifle comparisons
Latron Wraith is a separate semi-automatic rifle with 26% critical chance and a 2.8× multiplier. Argonak's description highlights a laser sighting system and single-fire and automatic modes; Aeolak is described as a two-mode rifle with an explosive alternate shot. These descriptions reflect different handling and features, not a direct ranking against Kuva Hind.
Requirements
Kuva Hind is a primary rifle with a Mastery requirement of 15 and one Madurai polarity. Its Kuva Lich tag does not establish current acquisition availability.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Mode changes also change the damage, critical, and status profile.
- Semi-auto has a lower listed status chance than burst and auto.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying one mode's critical and status values to the other modes.
- Treating the Kuva Lich tag as confirmation of current availability.
