Understand Mutalist Cernos
Useful when…
- Compare the uncharged projectile with the charged projectile, which lists a 0.5-second charge and higher listed damage.
- Keep the Toxin Cloud entry distinct from the arrow entries unless its trigger behavior is established.
Uncharged and charged projectile entries
The Uncharged Shot entry lists 184.5 Impact, 10.25 Slash, and 10.25 Puncture damage. Charged Shot lists 369 Impact, 20.5 Slash, and 20.5 Puncture, with a 0.5-second charge time. Both entries list 15% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 49% status chance. The charged entry also lists a higher projectile speed (85 versus 70).
Separate cloud entry and bow cycle
Toxin Cloud is listed as an AoE entry with 5 Toxin damage and 49% status chance. Its falloff data gives a 2.5 m endpoint and zero reduction; that endpoint alone does not establish a radius or reach. The bow has a one-round magazine, fire rate 1, and a listed reload time of 0.6 seconds.
Alternative weapon descriptions
Afentis is a speargun described as pinning an enemy and stunning nearby enemies when thrown, or buffing nearby allies when thrown onto the ground. Acceltra Prime's description highlights speed and faster reload while sprinting. Purgator 1 is described as a Scaldra slug launcher. These descriptions point to different weapon handling or utility than the Mutalist Cernos bow entries.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The charged projectile lists twice the component damage of the uncharged projectile and requires a 0.5-second charge.
- Both projectile entries list 49% status chance and 15% critical chance.
- The Toxin Cloud has a separate AoE entry, but its trigger and exact geometry are not specified.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the Toxin Cloud's 2.5 m falloff endpoint as its radius or reach.
- Presenting Toxin Cloud as a selectable firing mode when no trigger or selection behavior is given.
- Combining the cloud damage with either projectile entry as though they resolve together.
