Understand Spira Prime
Useful when…
- Use when you want projectile dagger fire with a 30% listed critical chance.
- Consider it when Mastery Rank 10 is met and its listed firing and magazine characteristics suit you.
Attack and handling
The normal attack is a projectile dealing 60 listed damage per shot: 48 Puncture, 6 Impact and 6 Slash. It fires at 3.33 per second, has 100 accuracy, a 12-round magazine and a 0.75-second reload. It lists 30% critical chance, a 3× critical multiplier and 14% status chance.
Mastery and mod fit
Spira Prime requires Mastery Rank 10, has a rank cap of 30 and lists two Madurai polarities. Its listed critical chance and multiplier may inform a critical-mod preference; its 14% status chance is another base stat to consider.
Compare throwing options
Spira lists 82 damage per shot, compared with Spira Prime's 60; these per-shot values alone do not establish overall performance. Spira Prime lists a higher critical multiplier, status chance and fire rate, plus a larger magazine and shorter reload. Hikou is described as emphasizing ammo capacity and fire rate over damage, while Kunai is described as a silent alternative to a traditional sidearm.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Spira Prime lists 60 damage per shot, while Spira lists 82; the listed per-shot values do not alone establish overall performance.
- Its Mastery requirement is 10, compared with Spira's 8.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating per-shot damage or critical multiplier alone as a measure of overall performance.
- Assuming thrown projectiles are hit-scan; the normal attack is listed as a projectile.
