Understand Staticor
Useful when…
- Use when you want projectile shots followed by radiation explosions.
- Consider the charged and uncharged attack entries separately when comparing their listed damage and falloff.
Uncharged and charged attacks
Uncharged fire lists a projectile dealing 44 Radiation damage and an explosion dealing 88 Radiation, with falloff start 0, end 2.4 and reduction 0.3. Fully charged fire takes 1 second and lists a 44 Radiation projectile followed by a 106 Radiation explosion; that explosion has falloff start 0, end 9.6 and reduction 0.9. The charged projectile speed is 40, compared with 60 for the uncharged projectile.
Attack-specific critical chance and handling
The uncharged projectile lists 14% critical chance, while the uncharged explosion lists 0%. The fully charged projectile and explosion each list 14%. All four attack entries list 28% status chance. The weapon has a 12-round magazine, 1.5-second reload, 3.5 fire rate and 16.7 accuracy; it requires Mastery Rank 10 and has a rank cap of 30. One Naramon polarity is listed.
Different firing behaviors
Sonicor is described as a sonic-energy blast weapon. Tenet Cycron is a held-trigger hit-scan beam whose disc can split to nearby targets. Arca Scisco is a scoped pistol described as gaining damage output after five successive hits. These descriptions identify different behaviors from Staticor's charge-and-explosion attacks.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Fully charged fire takes 1 second; the uncharged and charged explosions list different falloff values.
- The uncharged explosion lists 0% critical chance, while the other attack entries list 14%.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying the top-level critical chance to every attack; the uncharged explosion lists 0%.
