Understand Sonicor
Useful when…
- For a secondary pistol with both a projectile attack and a separate explosion entry.
- To compare attack-specific damage, critical, and status values.
Projectile Impact and Explosion
Projectile Impact is a projectile attack listed with 150 Impact damage, 0% critical chance, a 1× critical multiplier, and 0% status chance. Its falloff is listed from 0 to 20 meters with an 0.8333 reduction. Explosion is a separate AoE attack with 50 Impact damage, 10% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 25% status chance.
Trigger and magazine
The Sonicor has a semi-automatic trigger and a listed fire rate of about 1.25. Its magazine holds 15 rounds and its reload time is 3 seconds.
Polarity and related pistols
Sonicor lists a Vazarin polarity. Staticor is described as launching a charged mass of potential energy, Cycron as using a regenerating energy disc, and Kompressa as launching globules that envelop targets and explode. These descriptions indicate different weapon concepts without establishing a performance ranking.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Projectile Impact lists no critical or status chance, while Explosion lists 10% critical chance and 25% status chance.
- The 15-round magazine is paired with a 3-second reload.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not apply Explosion's 25% status chance to Projectile Impact, which lists 0%.
- Do not apply the weapon-wide critical chance to both attacks; the attack entries list 0% for Projectile Impact and 10% for Explosion.
- Do not combine the two attack entries into one damage figure.
