This standard, Madurai-polarity pistol mod increases damage against Murmur from 1.05× at rank 0 to 1.3× at rank 5. It is not a universal damage bonus.
Rank investment and alternatives
The mod has five ranks and base drain 4. Example fusion costs rise from 20 Endo and 966 Credits at ranks 0→1 to 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits at ranks 4→5. Higher ranks increase its faction multiplier, so weigh that improvement against the growing fusion cost and standard slot. Primed Expel The Murmur offers a higher listed faction multiplier. Accelerated Isotope provides Radiation and Fire Rate instead, and does not share the Murmur-specific effect.
Limitations
Expel The Murmur is incompatible with Primed Expel The Murmur. Its damage bonus is conditional on fighting Murmur enemies.
