Flawed Fast Hands

Flawed rifle reload speed mod

Released Jul 18, 2014

Flawed Fast Hands increases rifle reload speed by up to 12%. Consider it when reload downtime matters and a small reload bonus is useful in a standard rifle mod slot.

Flawed Fast Hands GUIDE

Understand Flawed Fast Hands

Useful when…

  • Reducing reload downtime on a compatible rifle.
  • Using a low-rank-cap reload bonus when a larger reload speed investment is unnecessary.

Effect and fit

Flawed Fast Hands increases Reload Speed by 3% at rank 0, 9% at rank 2, and 12% at maximum rank 3. It is a standard Rifle mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. Its listed effect concerns reload speed; it does not state a change to magazine size or ammunition.

Rank investment

The rank cap is 3. Example costs rise from 10 Endo and 483 Credits for rank 0 to 1, to 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits for rank 2 to 3. Consider stopping at an intermediate rank if its smaller reload benefit is sufficient for the weapon and you want to reserve fusion resources or mod capacity.

Other options and exclusions

Fast Hands is the standard variant, reaching +30% Reload Speed at rank 5; Primed Fast Hands reaches +55% at rank 10. Both are explicitly incompatible with Flawed Fast Hands, so these are alternatives rather than additions. Aerial Ace is an Exilus rifle mod with a different effect: kills while airborne refresh Double Jump up to six times, so it does not provide reload speed.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • The 12% maximum bonus is smaller than the standard and Primed variants.
  • Uses a standard Rifle mod slot that could hold another weapon benefit.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Expecting Reload Speed to add ammunition or enlarge the magazine; neither effect is listed.
  • Trying to equip it alongside Fast Hands or Primed Fast Hands, which are explicitly incompatible.
