Understand Firestorm
Useful when…
- Increase blast range on a rifle with radial attacks.
- Choose the regular variant when its listed +24% maximum bonus fits the build and slot budget.
Effect and eligible weapons
Firestorm improves blast radius for weapons with radial attacks. Its listed bonus is +6% at rank 0, +18% at rank 2, and +24% at rank 3. This is blast range, not a direct damage bonus; the supplied entry does not name particular eligible rifles.
Slot, polarity, and fusion
It is a standard rifle mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. The examples list 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits from rank 0 to 1, then 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for the following steps. Rank it according to the value of the added blast range for the radial weapon in use.
Compared with other listed rifle mods
Primed Firestorm is a named incompatible variant and cannot be equipped together with Firestorm. Aerial Ace is an Exilus mod that refreshes double jump on kills while airborne; Agile Aim is a Conclave Exilus mod for movement while aiming. Those movement effects do not enlarge radial attack blast range.
Listed sources
The supplied drop list includes several enemy sources and Eris cache Rotation C rewards. It lists the cache rewards at 4.51%.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Only expands blast range; it does not list a direct damage increase.
- The listed radial-attack eligibility is general and does not identify specific weapons.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating blast range as a direct damage bonus.
- Equipping Firestorm with its named incompatible Primed variant.
