Understand Fused Crucible
Useful when…
- Use Qorvex’s active pillars to trigger chain reactions during Crucible Blast.
- Consider it when the sustained channel and reduced mobility fit the encounter.
What changes
The augment makes Crucible Blast channeled and ramping. While it remains active, Chyrinka Pillars trigger chain reactions and their duration is frozen. Mobility is greatly reduced, so activating it involves a meaningful movement tradeoff.
Energy and ranks
The stated channel cost falls from 35 Energy per second at rank 0 to 25 at rank 2 and 20 at rank 3. It is a Zenurik-polarity Qorvex mod with base drain 6 and three ranks. Rank it if the lower ongoing cost matters to your ability use; its fusion steps cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo, plus 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits.
Build choice
Wrecking Wall is another Qorvex augment, but it changes Containment Wall: it strips 50% of armor and shields from struck enemies, and hitting at least five enemies restarts and empowers any Chyrinka Pillars. It serves a different ability and trigger condition, so choose based on which ability effect you want to emphasize.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The channel consumes Energy per second.
- Mobility is greatly reduced while active.
- The chain reaction effect applies while the augment’s channel is active.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Ignoring the ongoing Energy-per-second cost.
- Expecting the pillar chain-reaction and frozen-duration effects outside the active channel.
