Released Sep 23, 2026

Gastroparesis adds extra Gas damage to primary and secondary weapons for each enemy Grendel consumes. Consider it when your Grendel setup regularly consumes enemies and you want that action to support weapon damage.

Gastroparesis GUIDE

Understand Gastroparesis

Useful when…

  • Add Gas damage to primary and secondary weapons after consuming enemies.
  • Rank the augment to increase the per-enemy bonus.

Effect and condition

At maximum rank, each enemy consumed adds 15% Extra Gas Damage to Primary and Secondary Weapons. Rank 0 gives 6%, and rank 2 gives 12%. The benefit is tied to enemies consumed; the supplied effect does not specify a duration, cap, or calculation with other damage bonuses.

Slot and rank cost

This is a standard Grendel augment with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. The listed rank steps cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo, plus 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits. Ranking raises the stated bonus per consumed enemy.

Different Grendel options

Gourmand changes Feast’s cast cost to 200 Health and adds armor per enemy to Glutton. Hearty Nourishment clears status effects and grants immunity based on stomach victims. Catapult modifies Pulverize and uses an Exilus slot. These do not provide the same per-consumed-enemy weapon Gas damage effect.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Its bonus depends on consuming enemies.
  • It uses a standard mod slot with base drain 6.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Assuming it benefits secondary or primary weapons without consuming enemies.
  • Inventing a duration or cap for the bonus not stated in the effect.
