Understand Guided Ordnance
Useful when…
- Adding accuracy while aiming after landing a hit.
- Considering a timed accuracy bonus for an assault rifle setup that uses aiming.
Effect and rank values
A hit activates the accuracy bonus while aiming. Rank 0 gives +5% for 2 seconds; rank 3 gives +20% for 6 seconds; rank 5 gives +30% for 9 seconds.
Mod details
The mod is compatible with assault rifles, uses Madurai polarity, has base drain 2, and occupies the Exilus slot.
Ranking costs
The listed example rank 4 to 5 fusion step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Other listed examples are rank 0 to 1 for 20 Endo and 966 Credits, and rank 2 to 3 for 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits.
How it differs from other rifle mods
Gun Glide reduces recoil and grants accuracy while sliding. Spring-Loaded Chamber activates on reload and grants fire rate while aiming. Tactical Reload reloads part of the magazine per second while the weapon is holstered; these effects have different triggers and functions from Guided Ordnance’s accuracy bonus after a hit.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The accuracy bonus requires a hit and applies while aiming for a limited duration.
- The listed effect increases accuracy; it does not directly increase damage.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the bonus applies before a hit or when not aiming.
- Assuming repeated hits refresh the effect.
- Treating the accuracy increase as a direct damage increase.
