Understand Hell's Chamber
Useful when…
- Add multishot to a compatible shotgun.
- Choose a partial rank if the capacity cost of the full bonus is not worthwhile.
Effect and application
Hell's Chamber adds +20% multishot at rank 0, +80% at rank 3, and +120% at rank 5. It fits shotguns in a standard slot. The listed stat is multishot; it does not specify a weapon’s final damage or other behavior.
Rank and capacity tradeoff
The mod has Madurai polarity, base drain 10, and a maximum rank of 5. Its final listed step, from rank 4 to 5, costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. That raises the bonus toward its +120% maximum, so decide whether the added multishot is worth the fusion cost and capacity use in your build.
Alternatives and exclusions
Flawed Hell's Chamber reaches +40% multishot at rank 3 with base drain 4. Galvanized Hell lists +110% and a conditional kill bonus of +30% for 20 seconds, stacking up to four times. Hell's Chamber explicitly excludes both. Accelerated Blast instead provides fire rate and Puncture, so it changes different stats rather than being another multishot version.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The full-rank mod has base drain 10.
- The final listed rank step has substantial Endo and Credit costs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip Hell's Chamber with Flawed Hell's Chamber or Galvanized Hell.
- Ignoring the standard-slot capacity cost when ranking it.
