Understand Hyperstrike

Useful when…

  • Use it when you want a listed turret-damage bonus without a kill or faction condition.
  • Compare its listed effect with mods that trigger on kills, target Corpus enemies, or increase turret critical chance.

Turret damage by rank

Hyperstrike lists +12.5% Turret Damage at rank 0, +50% at rank 3, and +75% at rank 5. These are mod bonuses, not final weapon damage.

Plexus fit

Hyperstrike is a standard-slot Plexus mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 10, and maximum rank 5.

How it differs from other mods

Crimson Fugue grants turret damage per enemy destroyed for 8 seconds, up to 5 stacks. Granum's Nemesis grants a turret-damage multiplier against Corpus. Predator increases turret critical chance. These effects have different conditions or affect a different stat than Hyperstrike's listed turret-damage bonus.

Supplied fusion costs

The supplied examples list costs of 10 Endo and 483 credits for rank 0→1; 40 Endo and 1,932 credits for rank 2→3; and 160 Endo and 7,728 credits for rank 4→5. Costs for other transitions are not specified here.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Base drain is 10.
  • The supplied fusion examples do not provide costs for every rank transition.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Treating the listed turret-damage bonus as final weapon damage.
  • Assuming costs for rank transitions not included in the supplied examples.
