What does it do?
At rank 0, Flawed Intruder adds 0.5 seconds to hacking; at rank 2 it adds 1.5 seconds, and at its maximum rank of 3 it adds 2 seconds. It is a Flawed, Common Parazon mod with universal polarity and zero base drain.
When is it useful?
Equip it when you want a little more time to complete hacking ciphers and have a Parazon slot available. The standard Intruder comparison lists an 8-second hacking-time bonus, so consider that option if a larger window matters and you have it; Auto Breach instead offers a 30% chance to complete hacking automatically, a different benefit rather than more time.
How much should you rank it?
The mod has three ranks. The listed fusion steps cost 10, 20, then 40 Endo, and 483, 966, then 1,932 Credits. The benefit rises to 2 seconds at rank 3; invest only as much as the added time is worth to your hacking needs. Its listed incompatibility with Intruder means you cannot equip both together.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Only adds up to 2 seconds, less than the standard Intruder mod's listed 8 seconds.
- Cannot be equipped with Intruder.
