Understand Magnetized Cycle
Useful when…
- Adding Magnetic damage and fire rate to a compatible Archgun.
- Fitting a Madurai-polarity mod in a matching Archgun slot.
Effects by rank
At maximum rank, Magnetized Cycle gives +60% Magnetic and +30% Fire Rate. Rank 0 gives +15% Magnetic and +7.5% Fire Rate; rank 2 gives +45% and +22.5%. These are mod bonuses, not a final damage or firing-rate calculation.
Slot and fusion investment
The Rare, standard Archgun mod has Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 3. Fusion costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits to reach rank 1, 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits to reach rank 2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits to reach rank 3. Rank it according to the value of both increases and your available capacity and Endo.
Compare fire-rate options
Automatic Trigger gives +60% Fire Rate, but no Magnetic bonus is listed. Archgun Ace grants +50% Fire/Charge Rate and +100% Reload Speed for 9 seconds on a headshot kill. Shell Rush instead gives +50% Charge Rate. These options differ in trigger and effect; charge-rate bonuses should not be treated as a general fire-rate bonus.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The paired bonuses may not both be relevant to every Archgun; the mod uses a standard slot.
- Archgun Ace requires a headshot kill and gives a timed bonus; Shell Rush improves charge rate rather than listing fire rate.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not interpret Charge Rate as Fire Rate; the comparison mods list them separately.
- Do not assume Archgun Ace’s timed effect is active without its headshot-kill trigger.
