Understand Martial Fury
Useful when…
- Changing melee attack speed in Conclave.
- Evaluating the energy-rate penalty alongside the speed bonus.
What does it change?
At rank 0 it grants +5% Attack Speed and -87.5% Energy Rate; rank 2 grants +15% and -62.5%; rank 3 grants +20% and -50%. It is a Conclave variant with Madurai polarity, base drain 10, and maximum rank 3.
Use and tradeoff
The speed bonus comes with a substantial negative Energy Rate modifier, so consider both effects together when deciding whether to spend a melee slot on it. Relentless Assault instead grants energy rate on a kill for four seconds; standard mods such as Amalgam Organ Shatter or Berserker Fury have different critical, wind-up, or kill-triggered attack-speed effects and are not direct Conclave substitutes.
Rank and acquisition
The shown fusion steps cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo plus 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits. The listed source is Conclave, Whirlwind, with a 100% entry.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Attack speed rises as the negative Energy Rate becomes less severe, but remains a penalty even at maximum rank.
- Its Conclave variant and listed effects make it context-specific.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading the displayed maximum as a speed-only bonus.
- Treating the Conclave variant as an ordinary standard melee mod.
