After an Ability cast, Nano-Applicator grants +90% Status Chance while aiming for 9 seconds at max rank. The +90% is the mod's bonus, not a final Status Chance value. Its description does not state a Critical Chance bonus.
Shotgun mod and rank details
It is a standard Shotgun mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. Rank 0 grants +15% Status Chance while aiming for 2 seconds; rank 3 grants +60% for 6 seconds.
Compare other shotgun effects
Laser Sight grants Critical Chance while aiming for 9 seconds after a weak point hit. Magnetic Welt gives Impact Status Effects a chance to apply Magnetic Status, with that chance doubled below 2.5 Fire Rate. Flawed Shotgun Savvy lists +12% Status Chance. Their stated effects have different triggers or conditions from Nano-Applicator's post-cast aiming bonus.
