Understand Natural Talent
Useful when…
- Use it when faster ability casting is useful for the abilities in a Warframe setup.
- Compare its steady casting-speed bonus with alternatives that require low health or change ability efficiency.
What does it do?
Natural Talent increases Casting Speed: +12.5% at rank 0, +37.5% at rank 2, and +50% at rank 3. It is a standard Warframe mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 6.
When are alternatives relevant?
Speed Drift occupies an Exilus slot and gives +15% Casting Speed alongside +12% Sprint Speed. Final Act is a Conclave mod whose +30% Casting Speed lasts 8 seconds and triggers on low health; Heightened Reflexes is also Conclave and pairs +20% Casting Speed with -20% Ability Efficiency. Their slot types, variants, triggers, and tradeoffs differ from Natural Talent's listed standard effect.
How far should you rank it?
There are three ranks, with the bonus rising to +50% at rank 3. The supplied examples show costs of 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits for rank 1 to 2, then 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for rank 2 to 3. The last rank gives the remaining increase to the listed cap; weigh it against the casting speed your abilities need.
What should you watch for?
Natural Talent has a standard slot type, while Speed Drift is Exilus and the two other listed alternatives are Conclave variants. Do not assume their effects or conditions are interchangeable: one triggers at low health, and another reduces Ability Efficiency.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard Warframe slot for casting speed.
- Casting-speed alternatives may use an Exilus slot or impose a trigger or efficiency penalty, but have different variants and conditions.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Conclave alternatives are standard mods or share Natural Talent's conditions.
- Ranking it without considering that the final upgrade costs more than the preceding rank step.
