Effect and trade
At rank 0, the mod grants +5% casting speed and −5% ability efficiency. At rank 2, those values are +15% and −15%; at rank 3, +20% and −20%. This is a paired trade: increasing casting speed also increases the efficiency penalty.

Heightened Reflexes is a Conclave Warframe mod with Madurai polarity, a standard slot, base drain 10, and maximum rank 3. Its rank 2-to-3 step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Weigh the additional casting speed against the matching efficiency loss before committing to the final rank.
Related effects
Adrenaline Boost is explicitly incompatible and instead trades 20% health for +50% energy. Adaptation responds to damage by granting resistance, and Adept Surge trades health for mobility. These have different effects and are not substitutes for casting speed; compare them only if their respective resource, defense, or mobility changes fit the intended build.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Ranking it for casting speed without accounting for the equal percentage efficiency reduction.
